The project sought to improve the living conditions of the population in rural areas of southern Honduras, facilitating access to water. The objective of Art-Education component of the project was to sensitize the population on water issues, through social art. Populations living in the project area, fueron sensitized, socially aware and mobilized against the theme of water and sanitation, through 170 presentations of two multidisciplinary artistic performances in municipalities and communities in the departments of Valle, Francisco Morazán and Choluteca. These activities led to changes of attitude and changes in hygiene practices and the use and conservation of natural resources, including water.
